The historic stone walls and trailing ivy make the perfect backdrop to an outdoor ceremony. Even if the ceremony is held at another venue/church, as was the case for this wedding, how can you resist outdoor pre-dinner cocktails nestled among the old stone walls in the lower terrace? For this wedding we added romance to the tables with centerpieces of candles surrounded by rich, bold flowers in pinks and greens. Lots of candlelight can be a bit difficult in the Old Courthouse, because it is a historic venue, they adhere strictly to the guidelines! Luckily we were able to respect the codes since this bride’s father happens to be a fire chief! For the two “parent tables”, and the head table, this bride opted for tall silver candelabras (which coordinated with the silver chavari chairs) topped with unique arrangements of orchids, roses and hydrangea. |
