At our first meeting, this bride decided on “pink flowers”… at a later date, she came to me with actual flowers in hand that she had picked up (the local retail florist did not know the variety/colour name). It was obvious she had an incredible eye for precision and detail, which is great, because I’m all about the small details! The flowers were a gerbera and the other alstromeria. Both were a true fuchsia or magenta (which is actually a combination of purple and red). Not many flowers are a true magenta colour- it is rare! I then went on a search for the exact variety of gerb and alstro…. the bride had even managed to track down ribbon of the EXACT same colour and had her invites printed using magenta ink. Being the perfectionists that we both are, I found the right flowers, and she brought all the other elements of her wedding together. Checks out her shoes- how perfect are they!?
