This tall, gorgeous bride knew that she wanted to carry a beautiful bouquet of long, white calla lilies. To compliment her height and the clean lines of her dress, we kept the calla stems at maximum length. The bridesmaids all wore black dresses and when it came to their bouquets I was given a list of about 10 flowers the bride loved! How many is too many flowers to incorporate into a bouquet? Well done correctly, and with the right colour palette… okay, there is still no magical number. I integrated as many of her favorites as I could in the design in creating these bouquets. The palette is white and green and the flowers in the bouquets are white hydrangeas, green cymbidium orchids, jade roses, Queen Anne’s lace, baby green hydrangeas and green spider mums.
There are lots of floral elements in this wedding and this bride, and especially her mother, made sure the guests would be wowed by the flowers. From the orange roses decorating the stair spindles and the large entrance table arrangement to the library arrangements and calla and bamboo centerpieces. Nothing was left undecorated. We even had cute little topiary trees made out of granny smith apples and orange sweetheart roses decorating the outdoor bar.
